Older homes sometimes have outdoor lawn service taps that are saudered onto the house. Newer homes usually have service taps that screw in, allowing our house connections to easily attach to the house. If you have a saudered tap, that isn't a problem. We just need to know that's what we're working with and we'll include an adapter for your tap with your system. It's not the ideal situation but it will get the job done.
